The results are kinda surprising that there are more guys with JDM than USDM based on cost/availability.

I finally got to put mine on this week, never going back! Even though I could have bought a set of nice wheels with the amount I had to pay to get it in Canada, it probably is the best visual mod you can do to these cars IMO.

You should throw in a poll about what kind of crash beam people own...

I'm in the process of modifying my stock one. I have it all ground and flush but I need someone to weld them together

Personally I would keep the OEM crash beam for guys planning to do the JDM rear. It's not THAT hard to work with and get it to fit, it's just there are a lot of other things that have to be adjusted as well (plate frame, wiring etc.).

Guys with the aftermarket crashbeams like demonwerkz, if something does happen I think adjusters would feel more comfortable with the modded OEM beam there over an aftermarket one. The more stock the better IMO and I've also heard of guys getting rear ended with a modded OEM beam having 0 issues from previous threads.

The Evo 9 that I bought came with the JDM rear bumper and bumper beam, I love it, looks nice, going to post some pics when I finally take it out of my driveway.

The wagon is such a perfect machine for real life. Probably the fastest real world, all condition vehicle for four out there. I've got access to a drivable, but rolled IX, and heavily researched grafting it with a Sportback. In the end it appears to be a non-starter due to issues with the rear floor pan.

Question for the community: has anyone built a wagon in the states?

I haven't seen anyone do one yet. With all the older evo builds that people take on I figured someone would have tried to build a wagon, guess not.

There's some good stuff in this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-lhd-swap.html

I love the jdm rear bumper but I actually don't mind the usdm one neither. Maybe down the road sometime.
