What RPM should I shift at?

What RPM should I shift at?

So I have an Evo 8 with, cams and valve springs plus many more mods, what rpm should I shift at? 7k? 7.5?

i think 7 is pretty good. it depends on what duration your cams are. i have a milder cam that support fat mid-range powerbands so for me im at 7. on the other hand if you have super aggressive cams then you should probably step it up a few notches but be careful if your motor isn't built for it you might not be too happy afterwards.

Also depends on what rpm your turbo stops making power at. Do you have a dyno sheet?

I'm on stock block with S2's and GSC behives and rev to 8k all the time no problem.

I agree with Raptord. Look at your power curve on the dyno sheet, see at what rpm it starts to drop and have that as your shift point

valve springs and retainers?

i would shift at 7k.
