exactamundo!...that's all that ->I<- have read about it also...and yes they were from 2 different cars, days, and conditions...AFAIK, nobody yet has done a conclusive test (stock vs reflash) on the same car/conditions...

I'm a good shifter so I would say if drivers were equal it would be a very close race. Now I have a rice pipe in mine I get them down low and keep pulling.

And you are a WRX's, So I will tell you this a pe1818f car with custom Ecuteck tuning and full supporting mods only got about a half a fender on my EVO and the only thing I had done to it was a test pipe. (Stock boost, stock A/F and stock exhaust) This was at 135mph.
Half a car Eric? Sure about that one? Since I was driving that WRX, it seemed like good 2 car lenghts to me.... at least.

Oh ya you need glasses. Dude it was half a fendor We were both in 4th. Come on use your excuse about missing a shift or hitting red line. Oh I will give the two cars on 80 but I was paranoid of all the cops around so I really did not push more then 100. But on 280 you only got a half a fendor. And that was at 135mph. Not bad for a bone stock evo with a cat delete pipe.

Thats all

Actually, I will say this- yes, I hit the rev limiter in third for good 3-4 seconds and still got you by a fender. There. But on the flip side, I tought I was gonna get you by a lot more than I did- not bad for a nearly stock car.

But also for the record, I will say that the Evo is the more fun of the two cars to drive (EVO vs. WRX with a big turbo) simply because of its responsiveness significantly bigger brakes and much better handling, despite the fact that the WRX had Prodrive springs, big wheels and good tires. Now, the STi is a different animal that I havent had the pleasure to "try out".

Thanks
Danny

Oh I was impressed. That WRX is very quick there is a low 12 run in it. Ya the EVO is more fun to drive but that awsome kick in the *** from the PE turbo is just mind blowing.

I dont believe I named any of them in any of my posts...but I will say Busher is junk for sure! They may have been the first (state side), but they are definantly not the quality of other manufactures like Vishnu or HKS

It's a COMPLETELY new engine developed by STi just for USA. A lot of things made for the EJ20 will NOT fit the STi. Those plumbing mods you mentioned arent exactly "a lot of parts". One major plumbing component is the exhaust manifold, and none of the EJ20 ones fit.

How many STi's have you done installs on? Just curious.

Plumbing for headders is correct it is not the same but the other parts I mentioned do in fact fit...I have personally installed them. As far as your above statement you are absolutly correct about alot of new parts on the sti motor...but it is still an EJ25 which has been around for reasearch for sometime...the sti motor is a result of all those years of R&D. That is how my remarks were meant. The person that originally made the statementment seemed to imply that subaru knows nothing about 2.5s which is totally false. Sorry for any confusion.

What exactly is wrong with my Buschur exhaust? it's lighter than any other unit out there and I love the sound. It has held up to drag racing and some hard driving with no adverse effects.

I guess just because you say it isn't quality makes it so?

Wtf do you know about Buschur? Don't know how to spell his name right for one. Seems to me you don't know ****. And you keep on proving it to everyone with your ignorant statements. He's put more DSM's into the 10's, 9's, 8's and even 7's than any other tuner out there. There are few out there who are capable of tuning as much hp out of a 4g63 as him. Certainly not Vishnu. Nothing against Vishnu, they sell great overall performance packages at a premium. But if you after serious bargain performance without all the unnecessary frills, Buschur, RRE, and AMS is where its at.

What is your basis for saying Buschur is junk anyway?

Anything that is inexpensive is junk, come on...

If you can't use the dollar to judge quality it's too complex for the average uneducated joe to understand...

Don't let it get to you, it's the same faulty logic that costs people money all the time. It's their own fault and own problem. That's why over priced "luxury" cars that spend so much time in the shop like Audi's, Mercedes are so great. they cost a lot of money.

Stick with what you know and don't spend too much effort trying to help those that are too arrogant to listen.

lol, RIDE1 is another dumb businessman operating his car parts shop. With just one dumb post, he's a few potential customers plus the nasty word that goes around about his establishment. When do people ever learn???
