Evo 7 (Yet Another) Won't Start

My Evo have new battery everything is fine.
But sometimes when I arrive to a place an turn off my car when I try to start it after a few minutes it just wont start. Doesn't crank or anything but you can hear it is trying to

I will check:
-Starter Ground cable
-Battery connectors

I don't know, after waiting a couple minutes it starts normally

PLZ HELP

When it happens, try banging on the starter (with something heavy, rock , hammer, etc) if you can reach it. Sounds like the starter is getting stuck.

Thanks, also tried this and no, the starter is fine (BTW it is pretty uncomfortable this thing)

I had this issue on my Old car, it was the Main Relay but I don't know with the Evo

This might sound dumb, but check the wire on top of the starter with the black plug. And check the wiring for that as well. My wire was some how cut from the previous owner and I would have very similar symptoms.

Could be a loose connection on your negative or positive lead connection from your battery. I assume that when you turn the key to the secondary position that the radio and internal electronics light up? If so, it does not sound like a starter issue but a loose connections to the battery lead.

Thanks, after many TS with my dad (my mechanic) we found some diagrams of the starting system. The Evo does not have a starter relay it's a direct conection, so what we think it is , is the carbon parts inside the key thing (i dont remember the name).

I need to replace this part but i cannot remember how its called but is at the back of the key module (In the figure i think it's #7)

To bring you up to date, we did a complete test of current and everything is well connected. It's not the turbo timer, the starter is fine al cables on the battery are tight and everything.

The issue happens randomly.

Thanks

So the result is that it was the negative from the starter loose.
