Actually, I didn't miss the point. Nobody is looking for a CT9A. They are looking for an Evo IX or maybe Evo VIII without exceptions. It's like people who are shopping for f-body (firebird/camaro), they're not looking for the V6 because it's "almost a trans am", they're looking for a Camaro SS or Trans AM WS6.

What motor and driveline options do you think the CT9A had?

 

CT9A was the Evo 7/8/9 chassis designation. It was not shared with any other vehicle including the regular lancer. All Evo 7/8/9 are CT9A and every CT9A is an Evo.....


EDIT: Not sure what the chassis designation for the Evo Wagon was, so that might be counted an "Evo 9" that isn't a CT9A.

I like that he's laughing because according to him people shopping for cars normally search by chassis codes that apply to several generations. Who is looking for a CT9A? If you wanted a car that has that chassis you may as well get the best one that was made, the 2006 IX MR.

Are we really comparing post counts as if that matters, or somehow means that a larger number = more knowledgeable? Your last post does not support this idea.
