lightweight wheels and CF driveshaft

Also, some brake kits may reduce weight further.

rotating mass is where I would focus first.

Unless you yank the AC, power steering, radio, speakers, scrape what little sound dampening material there is, etc, you are stuck to what you listed.

I would rather have crash beams then save a few pounds.
The trunk carpet is like 2 lbs maybe

If you want to make a bigger difference, try to shave some weight from the wheels where it matters more.

Go to a small battery in the trunk. It takes out about 20 lbs and helps distribution.

you can peel off all the sound deadening stuff under the carpet and in the trunck....its a PITA but it actually weights alot for how thin it is...

RacingBrake 332x28 BBK saves 10lbs per front corner. 7 of that is rotating.

Its not worth 20# anymore if you have to run thick guage cable to the trunk. I don't think the extra work of relocating it is worth it, but the rear is light.

You added weight with your hood. Put a carbon trunk on it and that is a few pounds. You could also pull stuff like sway bars and strut tower bars. Throw some coilovers on it and that is some more weight off of the car. And like other people said some two peice rotors and light weight weels will take more weight off and be more effective than non-rotating weight.

imo put you're crash beams back on..or dont. then take out youre whole backseat because why have it in? ....it sounds like you are picky about weight so eliminate the possibility of having passengers in the back, and save weight while doing it.

will taking crash beams out void or hinder insurance claims?
