no, not after the plumbing to the front. that 90deg in the pic is a check valve and needs a bit of pressure to crack. i do still have some pressure when I remove the filler cap so maybe the check valve is a restriction. I havent found time to revisit this and I'm not experiencing any issue at the moment

What do you mean by “after plumbing to the front”. I thought this was default/stock. If you remove the EGR you are left with an open line in the engine bay plumbed from the rear canister. What exactly did you do to replumb it?

Coming back to this thread, my fuel issues were with a faulty pump. Regarding the EVAP, I connected vapor hose #2 to #15 vent pipe and plugged it into that LR chassis leg slot, venting to atmosphere. Charcoal canister fills up with fumes from fill up and vents back out the purge valve at hose #1. That's the hard line that connects to the intake manifold. I haven't had a cat in 15 years so idk if I'm used to the smell or not. I only really notice fuel smell after a fill up.

EGR gases comes from cylinder 4 in a parallel intake manifold runner, through the EGR valve and back into the intake manifold. This is why you plug it with a threaded countersunk plug at the cylinder head. The hard line from the rear of the vehicle is the purge valve line.

I am a bit new to the 4G63 platform and the previous owner did the EGR delete. Is this the countersunk plug in my head? I see the EGR block off plate on the intake manifold and no EGR solenoid or lines in sight. My MAP intake manifold has one vacuum line plugged up and one going to the FPR. One big one in the back also going to the brake booster.

Oh, I see. That one can only be seen once the intake manifold is removed, correct?
Then what is the countersunk plug that I showed right next to the thermostat housing?
