How to make cheap coil on plug setup
They are longer then the Yaris coils. I believe they are the same as the 2010 Corolla coils which I test fitted out of my wife's car. The bottom of the seal area sits about 1-2mm below the lip on the valve cover where the factory cover bolts to.
Unless I am misunderstanding your statement. They are longer than/same length as stocks right? I remember reading on a previous post that Yaris coils were slightly shorter than evo factory coils.

so to answer my question, they would work right? Longer should be the better option than shorter.

The Yaris coil is about 1mm shorter then the height of the mounting area for the stock coils. Stretch the spring slightly and they work while being as low profile as possible allowing them to fit under the stock cover. Makes for a "sleeper" look.
The longer corolla coils would probably lend them selves better to a machined plate that made them center of attention. They aren't going to fit under the stock cover, but because they are closer to the top mounting area for the normal cover, you could probably make a better looking plate. Although more costly.
Depends on what you are after.

Hey can anyone tell me if 07 scion TC coils will work? A buddy of mine has a set and since I have the pigtails it might be easier. Also I don't plan on reusing the cover so height isn't an issue.
