How to make cheap coil on plug setup
i just set this up using tsx coils and i had to modify the boot since the plugs were a little bigger than factory acura ones (im running bpr7es ngks) and as soon as i started it you could hear the difference in the idle and driveability was greatly improved. awesome idea man now im working on a spark plug cover thats bolts to the coils as an assembly, ill put up pics and some instructions if it comes out good, thanks again!!

Sorry for the dumb questions but. I didn't notice it.on the 12 other pages for the "yaris" coils what do you mean by extend the spring and is this any issue for usability? And these are the closest coils for the dwell time correct?
Physically stretch it. As in, grab both ends and pull, but be careful not to stretch them too much. When you stretch them it'll probably come off the coil but you should be able to get them back in there. As far as dwell time, previous posts do mention that it's actually identical to the evo's. My setup works perfect; with a "slap to the face" obvious difference for the better.
From my earlier post, the following coils WILL fit under the stock cover:
Denso# 9091902240, 9008019021
Fit under the spark plug cover:
2000-2005 Toyota Echo
2001-2008 Toyota Prius
2006-2008 Toyota Yaris
2004-2006 Scion xA
2004-2006 Scion xB
Fit under the spark plug cover:
2000-2005 Toyota Echo
2001-2008 Toyota Prius
2006-2008 Toyota Yaris
2004-2006 Scion xA
2004-2006 Scion xB

Car runs great now. If you are a person who notices the little things then this could be a night and day difference for you. My car seems much more street friendly during low rpm cruises and first gear take offs and it revs smoother throughout the rpm range.
