*** Official Plasti Dip/Flat/Matte Evos Thread *** [MERGED]
I used it on my stock wheels and I am very happy with the results, sure beats the hell out of painting them. I used just over 3 cans on all 4 wheels. I even took the car through an automatic car wash and it never took it off. I'll admit I do hate on some things *cough* stretched tires *cough*, but never plastidip. I plan on using it on the factory bumper mesh because I get tired of repainting it every so often.
Never thought about the bumper mesh, good idea, as you can see my mesh is not pretty. I can say though my mesh was that way when i got it. I keep meaning to repaint that stuff.
This sounds interesting. I would not mind seeing that as well. If you can get some pics of it and let me know how it holds up with the engine heat.

Taped

First coat still wet

Dry finish

On the car (a small photo shoot)

This is the first time I have done this. I made a few mistakes but I mostly want to see how long the stuff can last and how it holds up. The next time I will correct the minor issues I caused myself.
Other than that I think it makes the car look better and certainly the wheels since the previous owner used some pretty harsh stuff on a couple of them that left them looking bad in areas.

I tried that, didn't work out too well.
If you notice the raised logo in the wheel pic it is because there is tape under the Plasti dip.
Plasti Dip was a bit more rubbery than I had though and the logo did not come off right. I ended up having to redo the one I tried.
