the wheels look sick tho...great job ..i liked how you kept the mitsu symbol reg color..if i didnt have black jet coated rims id ask you to help advise me w painting mine!

Yeah I so wanted the logo to work out too, but the rubbery Plasti Dip did not allow for that.

Oh well at least the diamonds came out.

you know i was on the fence about it since i bought the car.
Ive done a few things to it. But the paint was done by the previous owner.
They did an excellent job with the lines and it looks much much better in person.
i didnt like it at first but it did grow on me.
It reminds me of a shark.

Only thing I did was a good cleaning job on them aside from removing them from the car.

Later on if it starts to mess up I will just peel it off and redo it. If I decide I want the stock look again I can do the same.


It is not perminant by any means but a quick, cheap, and easy way to black out (or some other color) your wheels.

As soon as I saw this thread I went and bought some Plasti Dip. Here is the results:

Nice looking car too.



I think the heat would be to much for the Plasti Dip if you did the Brembos.


Some people say black wheels are played out but I love the look

Black wheels just go with anything.
