The point was to reduce rubbing...not destroy other parts that are currently not rubbed on. But yes you can do one, but why not do both? Why not do both and mod the skirts and the pinch welds and fit a 10.5 or 11" wheel up front

You can use the PSRS but then you're going to run into the front bumper etc...depending upon how wide you go.

Jim,
do you have rules that don't allow aftermarket trailing arms? If not... then you can run the 18x10.5 +38 PF01's. They're the same width and offset as my CCW's I run with 295 R888's. That would be taking a HUGE advantage of running a 275

In TTS aftermarket suspension parts are allowed, no penalties as long as you don't go moving suspension mounting points. Would the 10.5 really help the 275/35 Hoosier a lot vs the 10"?

it would reduce squirm a lot and give you a wider section width. It would give you more section width than a 285 Hoosier on a 9.5" wheel So yes.

The 245 Hoosiers fit well on a 9.5" wide wheel.

So front spacers are mainly for caliper clearence. I have the AP racing BBK which is actually a little smaller caliper. Wondering of the spoke design of the PF01 (curved) gives a little better caliper clearence.
the wheel also gets close to the spring/strut depending on alignment and spring diameter, etc. so the spacer isn't solely for caliper clearance.

ciro design makes a caster/camber plate that seems to work.

If so with what mods I have stance gr pro coilovers and can adjust accordingly...however if those are a no go how wide would I be able to go? Thanks in advance fellas..

They're not going to do what you intend. They're about 13mm too far outboard than what I would consider reasonable... with 2 degrees of camber.

Maybe you could do a 245 or a 255? Search the Hella Flush, "stance", and aggressive wheel threads. They have those wheels in there. The reason why you don't see them here is because they don't support a wide TIRE.

Damn...much appreciated with the response I'll try I guess maybe a 255 I hate the stretched look and want better handling so I guess 255 will be on the list to "try"

255 on a 9.5 is not particularly stretched. It has worked very well in my experience.

^ a 245 Hoosier on a 9.5 isn't stretched per say. But I think a 265 street tire on a 9.5 is about right.

I concur, I'm running 245/40/17 Hoosiers on 17x9 and they look real nice, straight sidewall. 9.5 would work, but you will be a little stretched, but not much.

Agree.

I also do think 275 seems much better on 9.5. Maybe its depends on sidewall.

Not sure if these are directed to my question but is it the offset that makes my wheels not wide tire friendly?

Yes the offset is what is screwing your wide tire chances. More specifically fitting wide tires in the rear of the Evo is what is difficult. You will always have a spacer up front... and the front fenders support a very wide front tire. Wider than you're attempting.

To give you an idea a 18x9.5 +28 (more roll and camber) to 18x9.5+38 (almost no roll and no camber) wheel would give you the best fitment to make a 265 tire fit well.
