Factory reflashes, hesitation, stalling, and everything you need to know [merge]
This isn't like a real person to person conversation...you don't have to ask the person again...in the first post it says: Southcoast Mitsubishi
I don"t know the area real well, But isn't Southcoast Mitsubishi
like 10 min away from Mitsu-HQ, These guys can just walk over and pick up the new reflash CD. Maybe that is why they are the 1st to have the reflash..

And as for Southcoast Mitsubishi ... they had a Phantom Black Evo X on their lot (actually 2 of them) the same day that 2 other mitsubishi dealers here in Southern California swore to me up and down that PB was an Evo MR ONLY color. I actually had 4 salesmen surround me and straight up argue with me in steadily rising tones of voice that I was dead wrong about the PB being available for GSR.
As I was about to turn and walk my a$$ out of there, the GM walks up to me and asks if there is a problem, I asked if he had access to the internet and he took me to a computer. I showed them the pictures SCM had posted of the PB Evos and just walked out.
That's why I'm driving 1 1/2 hrs each way, past 2 other Mitsubishi dealers I know of, to Southcoast to purchase my Evo.
Hey I have a cone filter on my car right now. Should I take it off to get the reflash and or just leave it on. If I take it off and put the stock airbox on will it mess up the reflash when I reset the Ecu by disconnecting the battery when I put the cone back on? What should I do?

PURPOSE
Some customers of affected vehicles may experience illumination of the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL)
with DTC 1320 stored in memory, or a drop in engine speed at idle. The Electronic Throttle Valve (ETV)
may learn an incorrect position when the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position from the ON position
without starting the engine.
If the vehicle is driven with this condition, the ETV mis-learns Idle Speed Control. As a result, the intake
air volume is insufficient to achieve an initial idle target of 1,400 RPM, causing DTC P1320 to be set, or
engine idle speed to drop.
This Technical Service Bulletin advises the steps to reprogram the ECM with new parameters and to perform
the ETV learning process .
AFFECTED VEHICLES
