Good luck everyone

Maybe you got a different reflash than what everyone else is getting. The one I got yesterday was for an idle fix. After the flash, my car still stutters and hesitates badly at full throttle. It seems to get worse with temps below 50 degrees.

Did you guys read the actual service bulletin? My dealer gave me this reflash ONLY to help with the idle issues. As far as I know there were no changes to the fuel maps...that is coming later. I have the flash and my car still stutters and hesitates.

That much of a power difference could happen from one run to another...and especially being on a different day.

So does it still stutter and hesitate only at idle or still above 5K RPM?

I'm not sure I'm going to get the flash. My VIN falls within the range but I'm not really suffering from poor idle. I think I'm going to wait for a custom tune.

I hope you are wrong. The upper RPM for me is absolutely suckage.

You got boned, cause there are dynos of it showing better and smoother RPM climbs.

After the reflash, I don't see any 30 mpg but, its has improved afew MPG.
before the reflash I was doing on avg. 20-22 mpg, I drove about 400 miles since
the reflash over this weekend, I have been avg. about 24-26. Not alot but
its noticeable.

Ohhh, not bad, I guess after the flash the mileage is pretty decent! So it is running less rich now?

One guy posts a dyno chart vs a chart they did on a different day and you take that to heart? These cars can show that much of a difference in power from run to run with different intake temps. I think it is great if they have one that fixes the problem, but if you read the description of the reflash, it says nothing about fixing the enrichment problem.

I never really had an idle issue. Maybe 2 times in 3 months has my car had the idle drop. But I do have the sputter and hesitation above 5000 or 5500. It seems to be temperature dependent. It does it much worse when outside temps are below 50 degrees. I got the new reflash and checked to see if it helped the upper rpm problem on my way home and it most definately did not. It sputtered just like before. It also depends on how I roll into the gas.

My service manager told me this reflash was just for the idle and that they looked into the reflash to fix the upper rpm enrichment problem and it wouldn't be coming out until the end of the month at the earliest.

^ maybe they did not flash your car properly??? Everyone else has said that it fixed their upper RPM hesitation.
