My car had not thrown any DTCs. I did notice a very erratic idle from time to time and idle would drop pretty low at times. I took it in and they reflashed the ecu for me. I wouldnt say that the car is faster...but I would say that it is smoother power delivery.

You will get much better results.

I just hope it continues to go smoothly.
How did you give them the TSB? Print it?

They should have this by now....definitely by the beginning of next week. My dealer was well aware of the issue and had the TSB info in their huge book-o-service bulletins.

?

The reflash has more power in the upper RPM.

boost stayed relatively the same before and after TSB patch. Now the AFRs you'll notice the slope of the line as it enters the 10 AFR range is dramatically more vertical before (red line). After the TSB patch it went very flat (blue line) just before exceeding the wideband limit on the SE dyno.

So the question is to all the cars unsold will they patch the cars as someone is buying them or will they wait for the complaint?

I went to my dealer today with TSB # in hand and no dice. He checked their bulletins and the mitsubishi dealer link thing and it pulled up nothing. So I dunno what the hell my dealers deal is. I'm going out of town next weekend and there is a dealer where I'm going. Ill try them I reckon.

Make sure to use the word reflash/flash also. Mine had no idea about any TSB but when I mentioned a reflash then it lit the light bulb over his head I think. They told me to come in Wednesday. Best to do is to makes sure to mention the rough idle and sputter above 5k rpm, when they hear there are problems with the car they might listen more.
