Actual dates you will be there would help I am planning to be at Buschur's around Oct 6... probably too late? Will you be able to adjust line pressure's to the SST clutch packs via the reflash like they are able to do in New Zeland (talked about here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=364430 )?

Thanks,

Keith McDonnell

I would consider the 4 hr trip to see what a lightened flywheel, less boost taper with a Forge WG actuator, and better boost holding with a Works BOV is worth on the dyno. I would even bring stock parts and swap in for before and after numbers on the Actuator and BOV.

Let us know what actual date ranges you will be there, I'll contact you via PM's for details beyond that if the trip looks doable.

Hey Al,

Dave contacted me, and I will be there for the tune!

If we are making much over 300 lb-ft of torque on Buschur's dyno we will have to find a way to limit boost in the lower RPM ranges to lower the torque... I don't want to be the first guy to destroy the new TC-SST If we are not going above 300 lb-ft of torque with the parts I have on order, no problems. If we ARE going above 300 lb-ft of torque I don't see it being a problem for the tunning sesion, (get all you can out of it) but then after the tune is finalized we will have to temporarily lower boost until I can get a window switch (RPM activated switch) to control a Buschur Racing dual stage MBC and limit the high boost setting to only be active above the RPM point where torque drops below 300 lb-ft on the high boost dyno sheet.

See you then,

Keith

Nice, I didn't know they had that. Al should have some feedback on the WGA by that time. I think I'm going to be the first one he's going to install and tune it on. I can't wait to see the gains.

That's great Al. I definitely want a second session. I hit 285whp and I want more! lol. So I had:

NGR test Pipe
3" Greddy Ti-C
AEM Intake

So I did purchase a MBC. I am long overdue a UICP, LICP, a new FMIC. Any other mod suggestions? I would love to buy Buschur parts.

The RPM activated switch is my idea... I just figured it would work well with the solenoid activated dual stage boost controller Buschur Racing sells to make a nice boost / torque limiting setup for the lower RPM ranges in the SST transmission cars when it becomes needed. These switches are commonly used in N2O systems and you can get them from jeggs or summitracing or your local performance auto parts place. I don't know if I will need this kind of setup yet, but if not this round of mods I will for sure need it my next round of mods

I see no problem to set the Tq right at 300 abd control that with the boost
