Can someone please clarify - I thought ECUflash 1.40 was already released? What is it that we are waiting for exactly?

 

As far I can see, the MR & GSR have the same timing, fuel, boost, & Mivec Maps. There maybe other hidden maps that we cannot see yet that maybe different.

The 1.40 on the OpenECU site is a crippled version that will not allow you to read or write to the EvoX.

 

Just to clarify, its crippled because at the time, ECUFlash was not working well with the X. Give it a bit more time.

 

Funny how it's not "working well" but there are leaked versions of it out and beta testers flashing Evo X's and tuners are pushing the limits already....

 

I PMEd the admin of the site asking for a seperate ecuflash forum for the X's...much like the subforum the 8=9 guys have.

I wish he would respond. There is going to be a lot of confusion if we have to always head over there to get any ECUFlash advice.

With one exception, everyone reporting on the progress is either on the beta testing team or lending their car for beta testing.

Oh I thought the original poster had a "non crippled version of 1.40" so I thought it was made public for a second but then not....my bad. Still if it's in the hands of tuners who are beta testers and shops like GST is posting some amazing numbers I find it hard to believe it's "not working so well"

Just hurry and release the dam thing.
