It looks like the rev limiter variable has been found (actual one that really changes the limiter), I will be able to verify that shortly.

As far as I know the USDM doesn't have a speed limiter, same way the 8 and 9 didn't.

It shows 508km/h, which is 300+ mph I believe
You are a teaser aren't you !!

Here's the cleanup courtesy of Razorlab .. USDM do not have speed limiters..
The maps are verified .. just need you to test their functionality

Now to concentrate on waterspray function
Any other stuff you guys want to find ??
SiC .. the limiters are not easy .. I'll need to find the conditions that trigger them ..
the 2nd speedcut has alot of other conditions tied to it..

Do we not have the immobilizer codes, or is that the ECU ID field?

No immobilizer codes yet, you'll have to edit the original ROM from your car and throw it back in.

would a map out of a NZ new X help? It is a JDM model i understand but we run 98 octane down here.

Also since these ecu's are differnt from the previous model, after all the maps and ROM's are sorted will we start seeing sum how-to's? as we dont have any tuners i am aware of down here in NZ and i am keen to get the ball rolling.

If you can get me the NZ rom .. I can get it done for you .. you sure its not the DETUNED AUSDM model ?? .. sorry .. I love to do that coz the Aussies always gets the shaft when it comes to Evos ..

Yes .. A how to would be next as the ecu is similiar but at the same time different from the older Evos .. upgradees will roughly know what to do .. upgradees + previous Rex owners will definitely know how to ..

I think I'm with a few on here that have no idea how to tune but would love to figure it out. How-to and DIY manuals or write ups will be available so we don't have new owners going and blowing motors left and right correct? LOL.

im pretty sure they are jdm, we got ours a month after japan got theirs. And ours came with the MR wheels and bilstein shocks etc. I know the aussies get the shaft, i was going to get a aussie spec IX because all the NZ ones had sold an they were quite alot detuned from our models.

I'll have to wait for my cord to come first haha but will post it up after i get it.

i also know of 5 HKS FQ360's coming to NZ at some point, havent heard anymore yet tho

Correct me if I am wrong, but looks like to this point we do not have acces to a data logging program such as evoscan for the x right now? Is something in development along with ecuflash?

Yeah i dont know of any logging program right now that 100% works with the X.

ECUFlash is supposed to be working on a feature that can log though.

I'm using PCMscan.

It does not log knock or load.

It logs timing, etc however.

People that have been tuning for awhile before evoscan and such shouldn't have issues but I'd be stupid if I didn't say EvoScan for the 10 couldn't come quick enough.

Did more testing today. 100% stock Evo 10, stock boost control, filter, everything:

I'm warming up to the 10's.

So you gained over 60whp & 30 torque on a stock Evo, NICE!
