Currently, it can read the EvoX ECU and modify basic maps (IGN, AFR, Mivec, Boost solenoids, limiters, etc.) and like gunzo said, anyone with a computer will be able to make their Evo faster.
I thought you guys said, that if you flash the car, the engine wont turn? So you can make changes and update the ecu right now?

I am so anxious to have this and very grateful that you guys are working on it. I have been back and forth with wanting to get a silly reflash but I HAVE to be able to tune my own car and jump back and forth between tunes. I have contemplated spending the $3000 to purchase Ecutek so I can just mess with it now.

I look forward to a release and I will make a healthy donation. Thanks to all that are working on it.

That was several days ago. Can now read and write with pretty much no problem. Things are happening fast

Had a X on the dyno today testing it out, reads/write/flashes and was able to modify maps no problem.

I would expect a real release after all the little stuff is ironed out and more needed tables are found.

btw, it's kick ***.

Sooooo.... If I save the stock/factory flash and the tune the car using ECUflash, as long as I flash it back with the factory tune, shouldn't I be fine whenever I take the car into the dealer?

Cable ordered. However, given my advanced age, I had to take some Viagra to get the same reaction as PR Mivec.

2nd attempt at an answer:

Can Ecuflash reset the flash counter in the ECU?. Meaning, can it imitate or fool the Mitsu MUT tool into thinking it hasn't been flashed?
