I have no problem paying for it. I've often said that a fund should be started for people to put $$ in so Colby can spend more time doing it.

Just an update for you guys ..

Testing so far has been successful .. and most of the basic tuning maps are verified ..

List of some I consider minor stuff for now
Immobilizer
Idle control
Injectors

List of MUST do items ..
Throttle control map

no more requirements for MBC / EBC etcetc if you intend to stay stock turbo 23-24psi @ 7000rpms with stock exhaust

This ECU is ridiculous .. maybe its purposely undertuned like some mentioned .. ANYbody with a computer can make the X faster

gunzo, are you using the optional boost i/f with your Camp2? My Informeter can only log up to 1.54 bars with the stock MAP sensor. I guess it must be a 1.55 bar map sensor or something.... Also does the Camp log/show knock too? I really want a knock logger before I start some real tuning or do you have to add the A/F Knock Amp?

I agree 100%. I think it is kinda selfish for people to not at least donate $5 to the cause. I'll be happy to donate. Ordered my Tatrix cable yesterday and my FP red ships today too. I'm just about all set to go.

I think there is a BIG difference between $180 cable and a $20 donation and $600. For me the big difference is that I want it user programmable as I do my own tuning as others here do as well. ECUtek you can't do squat other than have a dealer flash it for you. No adjustments are possible on your own.

Can Ecuflash reset the flash counter in the ECU?. Meaning, can it imitate or fool the Mitsu MUT tool into thinking it hasn't been flashed?

I can't wait for this to come out... I am somewhat grateful for the delay since I get to read up on tuning for n00bs and learn more and more about the program.

They can't even flash the car, i doubt they can do that. All they can do now is logging i believe.

Flashing is working pretty good. Just need a bit more time to work out some details before an Evo X version of ECUFlash can be released.

I don't think anyone has touched that portion yet. I think most of the work right now is getting it to flash the modified ROM back.

Currently, it can read the EvoX ECU and modify basic maps (IGN, AFR, Mivec, Boost solenoids, limiters, etc.) and like gunzo said, anyone with a computer will be able to make their Evo faster.
