Wow... so much definition file chat...

You should have just grabbed a 55570005 and 55570006 from my site. I have all that done already.

You actually have an error in your 55570005 xml.

I've been meaning to tell you but I always forget.

MAP based Load Calc #2 has scaling="StockXMAP in kPa" instead of psig

MAP based Load Calc #3 has scaling="Omni4barMAP in kPa" instead of scaling="StockXMAP in psig"

I did it that way on purpose. The first map has it in PSIG so I can read it. The 2nd and 3rd maps are that way so that you can convert to a Omni 4 bar without changing your scalings.

All 3 maps use the exact same "psig" address, so you can always see what value is what by just looking at a different MAP map.

Make sense?

Because of the way I set my database up, all ROMs are setup this way.

So I am still using the 3 bar for now. So all I Need to do is add the 15% to the 3 of them that I got from golden right now right?

If you have a 2.3L stroker that is a good starting point.

That's would I figured.. I can adjust the fuel and the timing during the braking in time if I get any bad AF readings. Once I get 1000 miles on the new block I am going to finish the head and take her to the shop for tuning.

So you are putting the stock head back on for 1000 miles and then taking it off and redoing it?

Not to get off topic, but why? lol

Question Unique 2011 MAP based load??

I am getting this same load dip/spike in and around that 4000-5500 rpm range... Below is a sample log graph. My Load curve bascially looks the same on all pulls with some slight variations. This is the only image I could grab without the legend over the top of the load curve.

As you can see my boost curve is pretty flat and the load "issue" happens after I have reached peak boost. I think is is definitely RPM dependent.

My list of Mods are as follows:
AMS Stage 2 (CAI, Intercooler, UPIC, LICP, Tial QR BOV, AMS TBE)
AMS fuel rail, ID1000cc injectors, custom Aeromotive FPR setup, stock fuel pump
stock maifolds, TB, and cams
DOM2 turbo - 26-25 psi tapering to 24 for now...
93oct

I have worked with Hollywood_X on making sure my MAF and injector scaling is done correctly as well as I have blended most of his MiVEC maps to what I was using other than some more aggressive targets in the spool up portions of the map.

I downloaded a stock 2008 GSR rom and compaired that with my 2011 GSR rom. When I compare the 3xMAP/MAF load tables the numbers are quite a bit different and I wonder if my load drop/spike is so drastic due to the difference in the tables from a 2011 to a 2008-10?

Basically what I am wondering is if I insert the values from a 2008-10 ROM in these 3 tables and smooth them out like suggested in previous posts, will this help get rid of my issue? If not what suggestions do you guys have for getting this corrected?

And for those of you who have smoothed out the tables, how did you do it? interpolate, or more of a manual type thing?

I never built my head. I don't have the cash for it anytime soon. I might have it have enough bills caught up by that time the short block is broke in.

I see, well I plan to have my car broken in after about a weekend maybe a week at the most. I guess 1000 miles takes you a lot longer, lol.
