I can't wait for that clutch set up to come out cause I would like to have more power and also more reliability. Oh yeah one small piece of knowledge $80 per quart for the SST transmission fluid and the transmission takes 7 quarts so just throwing this out there that is' $570 (before tax and labor) to replace the transmission fluid in the car minus the transmission filter so just warning you, regular maintenance is expensive lol
holly smokes, $600 just to replace tranny fluid.
i guess if i get an MR, i won't be modding just to keep it under warranty.

Well I would read the service manual cause it's not a matter of warentee it's a normal service once every 15,000 miles. Cost of technology I guess.

Seriously? Six hundy every 15k? Is that what you have to pay to maintain the TC-SST?

Hi guys, what's the progress on the gearbox?
Are you testing the limits of the gearbox as well?

It's supposed to be changed at 120k not every 15k according to the manual iirc

I might be looking into a X MR, if the new MR trans can handle 500+RWHP with the proper clutch of course...

i think the SST will be upgraded to hold a lot more power soon..

the CVT tranny that are in the regular lancers can hold 350whp before they start to crap out..why cant the so much more expensive tranny hold at least 450-500?

Subscribed! Good luck and I hope you guys do some great work on it! It seems to be a great transmission, and with some strengthening, should be even more outstanding! I will be reading this to see what you guys will be able to do! Buena suerte!

xtremeboost,

All the work that you will be doing will be the same for the RA's tranny, correct?
I know it may seem like a dumb question, but im just making sure.
