ets open dump

I currently have megan racing o2 housing and downpipe. Im thinking of buying the ets open dump downpipe. I was wondering what you guys think about it. Is it annoying loud? or is it just the right amount of loudness? Also, If i were to get this downpipe, would i need to get a special tune or anything since its open dump? or would it be safe for me to drive it normally to california from washington to get my tune.
Thanks!

That's a great downpipe, def upgrade from megan. The open dump is just fine for the serious enthusiast, however its not quiet when you start to bypass. ETS does offer a recirc. dump, that's what I have. You would have no issues driving it from WA to CA. Boost my slightly increase do to less back pressure but nothing serious. Just take it easy...

You would be fine with putting around with a AP pre-tune, or the tune you are on. I would not drive hard till a retune after the install

There's a reason they call it a "screamer" pipe. Once boost kicks in, get ready for the banshee!!

Just be ready for the loudness when you go WOT.

That's a subjective question. It depends what's too much for you. If you're an 80yr old woman or have kids in the car frequently, then I'd shy away from a dump tube. Otherwise I think it's fun.

This question is always a hard one for us to answer over the phone. If you like the sound of no exhaust once you hit full boost go with the dump. If you want it to sound similar to stock downpipe during wide open get our recirculation downpipe.

Thanks!
