Europe, to precise Latvia. Cold winters, hot summers and salt as well..
I'm reading here, that some of you, are getting the thing done by warrantyr, just before 100k, and ai have online 60 000, and they wont do it. its stealership, which do not wants to help, because they think everybody is stupid.
Well, there is the big question, what to do? because dealership told me, that rebuilding it it will like 50/50, which i consider as a chance.
For new they are asking 1.5000 Euros. witch is those 2k dollars.
Maby there is a chance not to use that active differential. Maby there is a one option just tarmac, or just snow, like in the rally cars. I believe they change this thing to improove the results.
Its 4x4, but without that thing, like USDM, JDM and Europes evo's were different.
USDM ones didn't had this differential thing.

Prolly would want to use a pump for the X. Also the warranty should cover it since there was an extension issued by mits for a 10 years or 100k miles.

Here is my solution for the pump issue, about 4 months and 15000km's of hard testing behind. Zero problems.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mitsubishi...gAAOSwkZhWSjon

I got also a set of more powerful ACD electric motors (180w), looks almost OEM. These motors will need adapter flanges to evox pump, i haven't had time to do these adapters yet, maybe in 2-3 weeks these motors are ready to go. Price will be somewhere 250$

Year: 2010 (SE)
first sold: 2/2011
pump started to fail: not sure
pump failed: 59,250 (3/24/2016) Made a moaning noise - had to disconnect the battery and after reconnecting I received the "4WD System Service Required"
cold-start reflashed: Never reflashed by dealer. Custom tuned.

Just had my pump replaced via the extended warranty at Fountain Mitsubishi. Incredibly positive experience - mod-friendly and replaced same-day!

I have a full suite of bolt-ons and aftermarket tune, I'm well past the bumper to bumper warranty. Mitsu covered the replacement no problem

Full bolt ons e85. Bought the car from a dealership with it molded they had to replace the 5th gear and syncros due to fifth gear grind. Took car home on a Friday next day started the car up and system 4wd service required came on took it back to the dealership and now there stuck replacing that for me to at no charge. Wasn't a Mitsubishi dealership either

Had 4WD error message about a year ago, took it to the dealer and they flashed it according to whatever TSB and it went away. Last week I noticed that my "tarmac" light would flash and the bar graph was going away on the AWC screen. Yesterday I had the 4WD error message briefly again. Is this likely the ACD pump?

Pump was failing I forget the actual code but they had to call head office as it was not listed. It would stop working at constant speed. If turning or accelerating/braking the light would stop flashing. Fluid levels were fine. Pump being replaced Monday. At this rate I will have to replace it 3-4 times before warranty is up.
