Well if my lawyer ever is in office I'll set up an appt. with him. He had said it sounds like we could have a class action lawsuit. Mitsu claims not all the cars are doing it and like i explained to them, yeah the ones with the aero kits aren't but the ones without are getting trashed. At this moment they are suppose to send out papers so I can file to have a 3rd party look it over and decide. But I will be leaving for Florida next week , but after that I want to print out all pictures on here and will probably get ahold of everyone in order to get something rolling on a class action suit. So if anyone has pictures plz send them with your name and username on here so I can at least get something started. Send pics to evox34@yahoo.com.

Class action means there will be multiple parties involved. Very Simply. Many individuals v. Mitsu.

The RR and blue Evos are the most noticeable since their undercoat is white.

Yeah you're right yours does look pretty bad. Your undercoating is dark grey and it really shows, so imagine if it was white. Mitsu is of course going to blame the new water based paints... I don't think they are the only manufacturer that is having these issues.

That's the price to pay to be environmentally friendly...

What can we expect to get from a class action? Some type of refund?

I would say we would get the paint repaired and something to correct the problem.

Nothing. You won't win. This isn't a problem isolated to one manufacturer it's the entire industry. Guys have tried that with Toyota for bad paint on Corollas and FJ Cruisers to no avail.

The Mitsubishi paint isn't near as bad as the paint on new Subarus as here are pics of 08 WRX's. Some have had re-paints from the dealers but many have been told too bad;

I'm not so much complaining about thier paint as much as their knowingly putting the car on the market with a known design flaw. Hence the protective film that is about an 1/8 the size that it should've been for this area.

I agree that the film is too small and doesn't cover the area properly. I paid out of my own pocket to have the OEM piece removed and have the area covered properly with 3M. For the amount of money these cars cost it shouldn't have to be that way.
