I went to my dealer today and they said mitsu would fix the paint for free but I had to pay to protect it afterwards. I think that is pretty good of them to do that even tho it will cost me to get the 3m tape put on. It's about $100 per side hopefully it will do the trick.

Question which mud flaps are best?

I realize mud flaps are not the total solution to this problem. I have seen that some people are using the OEM and some people are using the Rally Armor flaps. (as well as a $5 solution)

Does one or the other provide better protection? I'm pretty sure I can get my dealer to comp the OEM flaps, but if the Rally Armor flaps provide better protection, I would rather just purchase those myself.

^ I have the RA flaps, I think they stick out a little more than the Mitus ones, I could be wrong though.

I'll believe it when You post your repair order or fax it to me. Hell I'd be happy with that. I can't see Mitsu fixing it though.

Do anyone know if the aero kit actually prevent rocks from kicking up to the body? I have an aero kit but i only had the car driven about 300 miles so theres no significant paint chips at all.
I just want to know if the aero kit works cause if not i may have to spend few more bucks to protect my paint.

The aero kit definatly stops it completely but it will definatly sand blast the front and under of the skirts...i have RA flaps and the aero...no chips at all since

The aero kit does not "definitely stop it completely." However, it does help.

The RA flaps definitely help. I have the flaps, aero kit, and 3m covering a majority of my rear quarter panels.

As you said though, the RA flaps definitely help. They stick out way past what the aero kit does.

So the kit is available now? Do you guys have an official part number for both left and right sides? I saw part numbers from a couple pages back, but still wanna confirm it.

I'm at 400 miles and I have 3 tiny chips on both sides.
