2009 Evo X release date?
go look up a best motoring video. they are driving MR's around the damn track lol so yes, the MR does exist. i've read that stuff about the new MR coming out, but it seems like that will be an 09 model. the one for 08 is already here. good job at being a noob. and yeah, it seems like you rely on wikipedia a little too much lol
and just so you know...that stupid thing about arguments that you posted from wikipedia is someone else's opinion about arguments. it's not a fact, but i think it's hilarious how you're saying to shut that guy up like it's the law because some jackass on wikipedia said it lol
I have no problem with the MR staying as is. I really think they need to add another gear to the X for the next model year or go with gear ratios like the VIII.
I'll be curious to see what, if any changes are made to the X. I would bet that bluetooth will be any option on the GSR.

Instead of attacking me as a person (wikipedia it - AD HOMINIM) , why don't you attack the statements that I made? How about proving me wrong by providing a link to the Japanese Mitsubishi EVO X showing this Japanese EVO X MR model. The wikipedia article currently reflects the facts on what models are being sold in Japan. There is no Japanese EVO X MR - but from what people are saying, there's one coming and it will have features unique to its GSR counterparts.
The EVOX in the Best Motoring videos tested were the GSR 5 speed vs. GSR w/ SST.

Apparently there isn't an MR in japan yet. I also thought there was wrong but was incorrect.
They only have 5 different GSR packages and an RS so far.

Not sure of the release date but got some more info on the new X.

Doing battle with the STI Spec C will be a new MR version of the Lancer Evolution, which is also expected to benefit from a host of cosmetic upgrades including additional vents on the front bumper, a new set of side skirts, a revised rear wing and a set of black alloys. The car will also sport a 305hp (227kW) version of the 2.0L turbo engine to put it ahead of its Subaru rival in the power stakes. Along with the power upgrade, the engine will also be reworked for better response at the top end and more low-down torque. The SST twin-clutch transmission will also get beefed up.

Who says the 2nd year of the Evo X will be better. If I remember correctly the 03's and 04's of the Evo still have that dreaded P0300 problem. It's not until the 05's that they figured out the problem. My word of advice is.. You'll always make a bad decision if you make a hasty decision. I know you're itching to buy the Evo X but take your time to research before you put down that much money on a car that you still know nothing about. Things also don't always get better with time, some companies realize that a car is selling well so they following year they town down on the quality because they know it's going to sell anyway. Plastic pedals anyone?
i doubt they will offer 0% on the 08's next year, its just too soon in my opinion. If anything they will offer it on 2010, since most 08's are gonna still be sitting on their lots.. lol.
