We're halfway through September and the 09's aren't out yet? What the hell?

The dealership by me said late October early November. They even have the tail lights already if you want to buy them to put on your regular '08 lancer or evo

no what I meant was the Ralliart was coming out then as the first of the '09 models in the turbo lancer lineup ( i think). The Evo X should be shortly after that, logically. And the parts department at the dealership, as "some sort of proof they're around the corner", showed me that they got the Ralliart tailights in stock.

^Agreed. The 08 Evos weren't really widely available until when, mid-February? They aren't exactly flying off the lots, so I'm not too sure if Mitsu is rushing to get the 09's out there. I'm sure they will feature the Ralliart for a few months, rather than overshadow it with a new model year Evo.

I've got a 09 on order, it is due here in November.

I thought it was a little strange but all the paperwork says 2009... I'll scan the invoice and post it in the morning.

I think my car is due to enter the Japan production line at the end of the month.

It is a PB - 5 Speed GSR Basic GCC spec. $47K (they are pricy overe here in Dubai)

Doing battle with the STI Spec C will be a new MR version of the Lancer Evolution, which is also expected to benefit from a host of cosmetic upgrades including additional vents on the front bumper, a new set of side skirts, a revised rear wing and a set of black alloys. The car will also sport a 305hp (227kW) version of the 2.0L turbo engine to put it ahead of its Subaru rival in the power stakes. Along with the power upgrade, the engine will also be reworked for better response at the top end and more low-down torque. The SST twin-clutch transmission will also get beefed up.
I hope that article is true. If it is the same price as the 08 mr (or less), come summer 09 (if I have the money) sign me up! 305 hp, more low end and high end, and beefer SST twin clutch? That is what I call a hit.
