2009 Evo X release date?

In Lancaster, CA, my local Mitsu Museum has plenty of X's on the lot. The dealer is not interested regarding the date of arrival for the 09's unless from concern as to where to park them.
Mitsu get your act together. Add a 6 Speed Manual (overdriven 6th) for decent engine speeds/mpg at 80 mph. 3800+ RPM in 5th at 80 mph!!

True. But why wait till next year when the evo x concept has been out for years. The ideas were there. But I really dont think all those changes will happen, if it does then i will sell my x or just trade it.

My family is from Acton, which isn't too far from there. I wonder if they will drop prices like mad when the 09's hit the lots.

Rumors I've heard from 4 dealers on 2009 models:
1) Small bump in HP to best STI
2) Technology package for GSR available
3) MR wheel package option for GSR
4) 6 Speed manual transmission as an option for 2009 and standard in 2010.
5) Upgraded seat materials
6) Upgraded interior materials overall
7) Additional color choice
I've heard these rumors enough that I backed off buying a loaded GSR two days ago and decided to wait a bit longer. I have a nice Subaru Legacy Turbo to play with for the moment. I'm committed to buying an Evo X, I just want to be miserable if the 2009 model has a significant improvement. If nothing else I'll have the 2009 model which will hold value a bit better.

And fix the bloody trunk - the battery does not need to be back there.
