Window Rattle?

So I am not sure if anyone else has had this problem yet, but I noticed that while I am driving (more noticeable when there is music/bumps or any other type of vibration in the door) the front driver side window rattles. It sounds almost as if it is going to shatter. If you tap the window, it makes the same sound as well. A friend of mine said that it probably is not tempered properly... any ideas?

Planning on taking it to the dealership soon... hopefully they wont void for tinted windows lol.

they removed at least part of your rubber trim, so the tint wont scratch. it only rattles when half or fully open not when closed.

bring your car first where you get your windows tinted so they can check everything is in proper place before going to the dealer

I had exactly the same problem with my front driver's door window. I drove to dealership for an oil change and also had the problem taken care of. It was a minor problem of a pin went loose and the problem was fixed in less than 30 minutes. I was surprised when the service manager told me that "it is the japanese quality."

I think you are right about that. It doesn't seem like its the tint or anything like that because then this problem would be on both sides. I will have them take a look at that soon (or maybe I'll do it myself). Thanks for the help!

OP, did you ever get this issue taken care of? I'm having the same issues as well but rather take care of the problem myself.

i had the same issue and took it to the dealer. They fixed it and said the bracket holding the window was broken and they had one in stock and replaced it same day for me. although if i leave the window open in a small crack and drive i hear a little rattle, but hey it's better than before... lol

Wasn't there a TSB posted by RussellM stating it was a loose nut inside the door card or something? I'm going to try and find that post.
