Top Gear USA Episode 2 - Evo X
Wow, I'm glad I was'nt the only one with the biased view, GET RUTLEDGE OFF THE SHOW!!! Dude's got a dead personality, and does'nt bring much to reveiws of cars. Glad Tanner is on the show though, awesome driver, with great perspectives on high performance cars.!!!
I dont think it would be a tragic accident if rutledge was driving a car with the brakes not working and crashes and burns in a car fire...
Tanner is just awesome and the guido is absolutely hilarious. Rutledge just needs to gtfo...

Tanner should stay cause he can drive, but he's not a good presenter at all. maybe Top Gear US should start looking for a couple of British presenters to replace Ferrara and Rutledge. Ferrara is supposed to be the comedian but he's never funny at all and i still don't understand what Rutledge is doing there
guess i am one of the few that actually likes TG US. i think Tanner is great simply for the fact that he can drive and knows his ****. i think that in a few episodes, we will see the show really improving since you can already see the chemistry building between them and the show will focus more on their antics than on the car just like the UK version does. with that said, nobody and i mean nobody can replace or even come near Clarkson and the UK crew
Well Top Gear UK swapped hosts after their first season... maybe Top Gear USA will too. I can't disagree with the comments on Rutledge tho. But maybe he's just there to be the "non-car-guy character" that James May is.
The show has definitely been getting better and they look way more comfortable. If you haven't checked it out yet, the History Channel website has some little web clips like "behind the scenes" stuff and an introduction to tanner, rutledge and adam. Although short, it gives a little more insight into each of them.

I thought that Tanner's piece on the Morgan (episode before last) was as good as most of the films on the UK show. I was tremendously impressed. What I didn't like was the studio into - the hosts apologizing for featuring a somewhat unknown car, or at least their perception of the audience's acculturation. Once again, they insist on speaking to me like I'm stupid.
Still, I honestly have a hard time watching and especially listening to Rutledge. I guess it goes back to treating the audience like they're a bunch of dummies.

Producers of Top Gear US: Please stop getting "stars" on that only drive a Prius. This is a show about CARS and preferably cars that most of us will only dream of owning. That means we want people on there that LOVE cars, not hate them. That's what I love about the UK version. They have their stars on, which I know just about none of them, but they all have exotic cars which makes it even cooler.

i've watched it from season 9 and i'm now working my way through s1-8
i was watching am ep from s1 yesterday and Clarkson basically seems to have convinced his (female) guest, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, to buy an Evo VII
