this is why i own 2 trunk's one is wing less and hole less lol, and the other one had my SSS wing on it but i sold it and am waiting on my Voltex Type 5 to get here so when i get bored of one of them its a easy swap

Mine came without a wing, but I've got auto dimming rear view mirror.

 

Does it work very well? How much is it?
I just find that my wing can block those very bright headlight completely.

 

I have a 2012 WW Evo MR w/lip spoiler. Is it possible to add the large factory wing with the lip spoiler? Will it fit? I've seen two photos in the past where people have done this to their 2012 MR's.

I also have a 2003 Evo, and I'm use to the big spoiler. It helps block out bright headlights from the rear, and I like the looks of a big spoiler on the Evo.

NOT, I just think it keeps the car from being targeted by every law enforcement officer in sight.

It's like asking for trouble, my friend had a 2003 evo with the big giant cf wing.

He would get pulled over just about every time he went out.

Now he has a 2011 evo x mr, drives like a maniac & never even been stopped 1 time in a year & a half.

Think the wing is like a bullseye on a dart board.

No wing no target.

 

So what part of an Evo is the triple-20?

 

I just got stopped by the police doing 70 mph in NC in my 2012 MR w/lip spoiler. I was doing exactly the speed limit when the popo pulled me over. He said my tint was illegal. I told him he's wrong, so I had to wait 20 min. until his buddy arrived in another car and tested my tint. Of course it tested completely legal. Then he becomes nice and tells me how to care for my tint, not using harsh chemicals etc.

Wing or no wing, Evo will get pulled over by the cops.

Rx warrior, in your case you were profiled, he was fishing.
Had he found say a small bud maybe one of your friends dropped the night before in back seat of your car unknown to you.
It wouldn't matter if you we're in a minivan, you would be in trouble right there forget about for the tints, it happens to the best of us.
Last time I had a loaner I got a speeding ticket. 70 in a 50 zone highway. Was not paying attention, my fault.
Needless to say even with family on the job & giving him the Pba card, this highway patrolman was in a bad mood.
Did my best, almost got cut loose.
Last minute he decides, no verbal warning.
So again sometimes it's wrong place wrong time.
Having a ginormous wing does not help convince the avg cop you weren't speeding.
you don't want to be singled out for the wing. It makes the car look like its committing a speeding ticket of felony status while standing still.

 

Say wing cuz It just makes the car but if you have jdm rear wingless that looks super clean but if yo hav just the usdm rear I say you need the wing.

 

Haha, of course you will. There is, however, less attention without the wing.
