2015 evo X
Hi guys, first post here as I am looking for a 2014 or 2015 Evo.
I'm in Canada so we do get the Recaro's in the 2015.
My concern is on the canadian site:
For the 2014: ALUMINUM HOOD, ROOF AND FRONT FENDERS
http://www.mitsubishi-motors.ca/en/v...on/2014/specs/
For the 2015: ALUMINUM HOOD WITH HEAT EXTRACTOR VENTS
http://www.mitsubishi-motors.ca/en/v...on/2015/specs/
Is it a mistake or no aluminum roof and fenders for the 2015?

Hi folks,
I just went Puente Hills and Cerritos dealers looking for the 2014 Evo MR. They are doing mark up (+6K - 10K) on top of the MSRP price. So I change my mind to get a 2015 Evo MR instead.
Does any one know which dealers have the good offer for the 2015 MR?
The Cerritos one gave me a ridiculous offer for the 2015 Evo MR $40000 + $5000 (mark up) + Taxes +... around $50000 OTD...
Thanks!

Most of the dealers in Socal are F**kin crooks. They can go F**K themselves with a 10K markup on a 2014
Well I stand corrected. A 10K markup sounds like a steal when compared to what they want for one at this dealer

Obviously, that is a typo, and someone added an extra zero.. Sometimes when dealers post stuff on autotrader, they "accidently" do that because it makes their add jump all the way to the top. Usually, the default listing for Autotrader is showing highest prices first..

If you've ever sat in a base Lancer then you've sat in the seats. They are the same.
When you take a corner con gusto, they seem just right.

I'm a little disappointed that the lumbar support isn't adjustable.
My ST-165 had power adjustable side bolsters and lumbar support. But it didn't have air curtains in the bolsters, though.
The Recaros were one factor in my choosing an EVO VIII over an STi, back in '03:
If you don't like the seats, you can put almost any other Recaro on the same mounts.
Not as easy on the '14 X, with the airbags in the seats.
But the X is much much better in a side impact.
The VIII's "B" pillar was so far forward that the shoulder harness didn't fit snug.
Any hit on the drivers side would have slammed my head against the roof frame.
The X's "B" pillar is far enough back to hold the shoulder harness correctly, and Mitsu added enough air pillows to the sides to improve the side impact safety.
Wow, I've been having a little bit of buyers remorse purchasing my 2014 because I was hoping to get black instead of white (got a GREAT deal on a WW though). After reading this, I'm starting to just be happy I got an EVO and that it's a 2014 not a 15...
