2015 evo X
I took a pic of it specifically because that's already been said. It's not, or if it is it's not really noticeable. I held it in person, didn't notice anything.
46K car? Sounds like an MR, the MR isn't as desirable as the GSR, so that could be why. I also picked up my GSR for slightly under MSRP. The thing here is, the dealer I got it from wasn't always a Mitsubishi dealer. A lot of these "new" dealers used to be Suzuki dealers, they know nothing about these cars.
It's a simple matter of not every dealer in the USA knows that they can mark it up above MSRP and still sell it, in fact, not every dealer can do it. If they have a very weak Internet presence and are in a weak area economy wise they probably have trouble selling them at normal price, let alone marked up. But very soon there will be none left but the marked up ones.
Personally I think it's stupid, some of the mark up I've seen far outweighs the cost to bring a 2015 in line with a 2014 cosmetics wise. A place around here could do the seats for about 1.5-2k, and the mirrors are not a big deal. Black out that chrome bit and you are set. That's nowhere near the 8k+ markup I've seen.
Edit: If you really want to buy the car with the 2014 seats, I can probably get you connected to a dealer that will sell you a 2015 with 2014 seats. I haven't confirmed that, but if there is interest, I can poke them and see. It's the same dealer that offered me a GSR withOUT SSL but WITH leather seats. An impossibility anywhere else.

Anytime you see the second, skinny window sticker on a dealer lot, just take your business elsewhere.
so much lols...those market adjustments.
you wouldn't have to try hard to find a reasonably priced one.
remember they are still in production thou 2015 so its likey we could possibly see last deliveries coming in the frist quarter of 2016....
so its not like they are going away over night. they are just looking for suckers....

The recaro's DIDN'T pass safety standards set for 2015 world wide.
Mitsubishi had no choice to put lancer seats in, we're all lucky we got a 2015 so I would shut up about already.

its and idea, but I can think of more then a few aftermarket seats Id LOVE to have in the EVO. im more worried about that silly sidemarker, and chrome even....good grief...
if you tried to swing that 10k market adjustment your favor on your trade in, they would laugh you off the lot. ironic thou since its the same thing were doing at them here.
GREED is good~gordon gekko
At least I wouldn't feel bad about getting an aftermarket seat, sans not having a side impact airbag. And evidently Mitsu (mind blown) isn't taking the price of the Recaros off the sticker.
Too bad telescoping steering wheels aren't a safety requirement. Hoped after 8 years in production they would have made that an option.
