Personally the car looks like a cheesy Acura to me so I dont see what the big deal is.

 

I don't know...it's growing on me. I'm sure when the actual model hits, the fervor will increase for the X. And, there will probably be one in my driveway!

 

Wow, they REALLY need to fix those slant-eye taillights before I'd go near one. Other than that, it looks great. Definitely better than the current option: being forced to drive a teenager-looking car as an adult just to get badass performance for a reasonable price.

 

I like the front end all blacked out. If that is what goes to production you know it won't be long until the aftermarket makes a carbon cover up for the bumper beam like the new GTR. Which would look pretty sporty in my opinion.

I didn't like the car in profile at first. It's C-pillar and backend looked like a Mazda 3 to me. Then I saw it in "CAR Magazine" and it looked very Audi esque from the side to me. Which I like. I do think if that wing carries over this will be the first Evo I like better with no wing vs. the big wing. I think just a little lip spoiler would be very nice on that car.

 

+1 on that, the sides look very TL like. The front is okay, maybe a bit too much like the raider and eclipse though but that does seem to be the direction they're heading on the Ralliart versions...............

 

IMO it's been downhill since the EVO VIII...glad that's the one I am jumping on.

 

I dislike the SRT style hood vent/scoop. Oh and basically everything else but the headlights.

A few comments.....We have all seen the different # EVOs develope....I remember seeing the 7 and thinking it was gorgeous....then I saw the 8 and I instantly fell in love......this year the 9 is out and darnit if they didn't improve its looks yet again......Now we see the CONCEPT 10 and I have to say.....it just doesn't increase my pulse rate like the 8/9.

To me it feels like what Mitsu did to the eclipse. The 2G(b) 97-99 GSX was darn near perfect. Then they released the redesigned 3G platform. The 3G was a giant leap back for Mitsu. I hope they dont do the same thing with the EVO10.

I'm not one of the fashionables. The fashionables always want the latest, greatest, newest version. I dont want to buy a car because its new.....I want to completely and entirely love the car. I loved my 98 GSX and I love my EVO 8.

If the concept looks like the production car......a nine will be in my driveway and not a ten.

I don't care for NACA duct (the one that faces forward) in the hood either. It makes the hood look too busy.

Oh ok that makes sense now. I'm just tired of ppl talking way too much sh*t about the evo x looks when we all know this is still the concept. Whats going to be funny though is when the x is out the ppl who talked so much sh*t will be the first ones that will buy it or trade in their current evo.....
