You guys have to keep in mind though, most people that arent into the tuning scene consider the way evo's look as crap. Same goes to the GT-R. While I love the way the evo8/9 looks, people look at an evo and think ricer, another civic wanabee. The evoX is trying to remedy the situation and make the car more masculine to draw in a bigger crowd. While many current evo fans are split on the way the evoX looks, most non-evo lovers think that the X is a big improvement to the evo.

And just be glad mitsu didnt decide to have a seagull rape an evo like subaru did to the STi.

I also wonder since the evoX is going to be more expensive, would mitsu consider making a weaker evo, much like the wrx is to the STi?

 

I like the one with the speaker looking foglight covers. I think exterior body speakers are going to be the next big import modding craze. It will make it easier for the guy in front of you in traffic to hear your radio when you're playing "Move, b!tch, get out the way!"

 

+1 I agree this shape is definitely more apealing to your everyday shmo (non-evo owner). And ya that subaru front end is fugly. It looks like a car with a big nose.

...other than the white grill, that blue paint job looks pretty funky.

Also this will be the first Evo in Canada so I'm looking at its development with interest...I still don't like all that grey plastic on the front.

isnt that what the lancers and ralliarts are ??? anyways the X is ok ... the headlights are teh sex ... the hood is ugly but the hood on that blue one looks better ... id take those headlights and throw them on the VIII and then it would rule all ... p.s. for those that keep saying "its just a concept" look at the past ... the eclipse concept came out pretty much exactly like the concept ... so yea id expect the evo x to be no different
