Although the new Evolution engine block is lighter, it was designed from the outset for high-performance turbocharged applications. High inherent strength has been achieved partly through over-engineering of the open deck block, and the use of large water jackets and metal areas around each siamesed cylinder bore. The reciprocating assembly of the turbocharged 4B11 is capable of withstanding high levels of boost.
With the 4B11 turbo engine's stronger torque performance, a 5-speed will provide optimal acceleration response.
EVO X Pricing?
Has anyone had the opportunity to find out any pricing for the 2008 EVO X?? I like the new concept and its tempting to sell my 04 and buy the X when it comes. This of course will be better determined by the price. Again, any info would be appreciated. :-)
That's when I stop reading,
This is so dumb and immature. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Why waste a thread to start... of all things, a thread to bash a car interior? That is the most childish thing ever. It's a freakin car for christ sake. Please, log off the internet and go a wiff a fresh air and reality.
Thank You.

Like it or not, it's an improvement over the IXs interior, and besides who buys an EVO for the interior anyways, stupid thread and stupid thread author, go buy a BMW or something and have a nice day.
I absolutely love the EVO X!!! Is it perfect, of course not, and honestly it could never be perfect, somebody would have a problem with something, and somebody would just hate on it for no other reason than just to hate on it. But still in my opinion it is an improvement over the EVO IX as far as styling (exterior and interior) and will get a bump in Horsepower. Mitsubishi EVOs have always been underrated and I would not be surprised to see bone stock EVO Xs putting down 300whp. My only majore gripe is the added weight, I just wish there would have been some way to get the weight down a bit, and hopefully in full production stock form the car only weighs in about 100lbs heavier. I tell you one thing, if they release an RS version, that will be my car.
