more like 40 years...and I doubt they will be changing the 911's primary shape anytime soon...the 997 looks similar to the 996 but damn is it an improvement...I drove a few of them when I worked at Evo Motorsports and I was amazed at how much better the stock 997 felt over a 996 with 100k of upgrades

I went to my local dealership yesterday to test drive the IX, and they told me that the Lancer X would jump up to 50-60k price range. So my plan is to purchase a IX when the X drops.

I can't believe you fell for that one. Hmm, buy my car now or wait until next spring to buy a car? What do you think a dealership salesperson would have told you?

Stop worrying about the exhaust. Your going to replace it. It makes as much if not more power than most V-6 or V-8s on the market....so why not have dual tips. Dual tips is traditionally a performance characteristic of a car. 98% of those exhaust systems are going to be replaced so chill.

Well the question has already been answered. For now it is the prototype X (ex) and once in production (meaning being built and for sale) it will be the evolution 10 with the X as the logo. But like I said for now all the folks are calling it the "ex" because it's not a final product.

Will you guys PLEASE stop basing US prices off of UK exchange rates! It doesn't matter one damn bit what the exchange rate is, the price of the car we will get is not affected by it.

Can someone convert the torque # for us?

With the standard power output of Japanese-spec models expected to rise from 280bhp to 320bhp and torque jumping from 400Nm to 441Nm, the Evo X will sprint from 0-60mph in less than 4.5 seconds.

Well the latest info from Mitsubishi North America itself refers to it CONCEPT X (ex) not ten. Once the Evo finally comes out in November it will be called the Mitsubishi Evolution X (ten); which the Lancer nameplate is totally off because it's a totally different vehicle
