I guess you'd hate me then...I'd call it the Ex just to get under you or someone elses skin.

I am happy to say that I will not be ashamed to valet the next Evo if it looks like that inside...

... but integrated head unit

what happened to the aftermarket love? single din slot gone? ugh, more money for a custom alpine/pioneer/eclipse solution, cuz rockford just isn't good enough...

anybody have any pics of what the trunk looks like? I would like to know what kind of amps/ subs I can fit in there!

but again, a step up... not worth 40k, if that is the true price, but a step up!

Probably the same (about 13 gal) since it's in the same location and appears about the same size from what you can see in the pics.

Why?

Early rumor suggest this car is doing 0-60 in 4.5sec and 1320 in 12.4@109, if this comes out true for a stock X, why would you even fanthom a 4G63 swap? MBC, Exhaust and a Reflash, could probably put this car in the 11's w/ ease.

I have seen the regular lancer and the EVO. To be honest, it will be difficult for people to tell the difference right now.
I believe it's good for the lancer and bad for the Evo.

It will be like WRX vs. STI: without the wing, the exhaust and the rims hard to tell which one is the STI...

The car looks less wild than the current one.
The rims and the brakes look awesome on the concept. (6 pistons brake caliper)

So wait and see...

Thanks for the pointer to the video. Hadn't seen that. The most depressing news in that video is that he said the new Evo will be available "some time next year". It appears this was recorded at the Detroit auto show, meaning it was Jan, 2007, and "next year" would thus refer to 2008. Anyone have a comment on that?

A tad optimistic are we? I'm marking this so I can laugh at you when the actual numbers come out

You can laugh all you want, but I never said it was true. Reread my reply, I said early rumor. If it's not true, than owell, im not loosing sleep. Im laughing at you because your reading to hard into my comment, trying to make something out of nothing.
