They say they will offer a manual for all those getting pissed off about the clutchless "manumatic". Also the manumatic will be faster and for a daily driver will be much better. The turbo will also be located against the firewall giving more inboard weight instead of weight on the outside of the front wheels. Lots of upgrades, although im sad to the loss of the 4g.
I like how this looks but I am not interested in getting rid of my IX for the X. For the sake of Mitsubishi's welfare, I hope this car is uber-successful but doesn't result in the community turning to crap.
Dear Santa,
I want this!
So are these they way that the headlights look? I thought they were more boxy and not rounded at the end. I like this look a lot more.
Makes me want one more than ever...just maybe...

Hard to say, each model they raised the price a bit but this is the first time they have implemented alot of luxuries not common with the evo. I would probably say normal 5sp regular evo probably 34-36k and fully loaded with the new transmission probably close to 40k. That just speculation so it could be anything, it would be dumb if Mitsubishi was to raise it alot though because this car appeals more to younger age groups and being cheap speed is what made the evo.
out of all the searching and what not alllll i could gather was a 50k price range, sounds crazy i know but thats really allll i could gather. so i too am so confused on the actual pricing, ive seen nothing below 40, maybe my searching just sucks lol

bahh.. not true at all unless you running a big turbo. The new head/cam/header combo on the c6 is making 500whp Na on 91 octane for very minimal money... the evo is geared to be a race car.. the vette is not. Its geared for top end and fuel economy ( no $3000 gas guzzler charge like its competition) try swapping the gears on the vette and It walk you every time....
For the amount of money you save on the gas guzzler charge you can add headers, intake manifold, DRs, gears, CAI, tune and run low 11s on pump with a top speed close to 200mph...plus the vette handles better .98gs
The 2008 vette will be in the 430hp range.. and you can get these cars with the z51 for low 40s. The exotic looks alone are worth 10K over the value of the evo so I really cant see how the X hopes to sell in the high 30s. It will not be a bang for your buck performance car anymore.

well you have to look at the price range and market they want to hit. i don't think it will be 40k but dealer mark ups can hit that price. mitsu wants to make money not lose money so i'm guessing the entry level will be 29-32k range. don't get out of the market for what EVO buyers expect & want from mitsu.
