I expect the X to be priced at about 35-36k for the MR (If MR is still the top of the line)

Cool

Hello EVO fanatics Newbie Here.
I’m just waiting for EVO X. Always wanted an EVO but like the word they evolve to fast I haven’t decide yet. Big fan of the EVO 4 and 5. But some guy at the dealership told me that this would be the last EVO. Does anybody have a clue on this??

Um no...

If Mitsu was going to stop the Evo series, it would have ended with the IX. They would not start a the "last" Evo on a new platform, financially it doesnt make sense. Dealers are clueless, remember that.

When I bought my VIII, my dealer told me there was not going to be a IX in the US. They actually fought with me, that is until I brought the then current Sport Compact Car magazine in with a small article on the IX. Its sad we cant just buy direct from Mitsu Motors in Japan...

Rossm, i have to say i think you ar off a bit on your price quess, because the 06 MR was around 36-37K, so based off of that and the fact that if you look at all of the 3000gt VR4 years they almost always went up in price since they came out. I am willing to put my money on them selling the X MR at 39-40K

LOL what's funny is, about a year ago I went to Dick Hanna mitsubishi in Vancouver, WA...and it had turned into a hyundai dealership! I asked a salesperson where the Mitsubishi dealership was now so I could see the Evo IX's...he assured me Mitsubishi was now out of business...but he could get me a good deal on a hyundai...and with a chip it's just as good or better than an Evo...I almost died laughing...

Cool

MAY BE MITSUBISHI WILL EVOLVE SOME OTHER CAR.

LIKE THE ECLIPSE.
THE ECLIPSE IS THE CAR THAT WANTED TO EVOLVE AND DIDN'T.

1st or 2nd Qtr 08. Let's safely say by June, 2008 it will be on sale in Mitsu dealerships in the United States.

My gut guess is March or April 2008.
