it does make the IX look dated and im very excited about the X.

but from a performance viewpoint (ie mods) i am very glad to be getting a IX!!

 

i like the orginal concept X. looked sharper. still a fan though of Evo X.

 

That X is HOT! I watched that video three times.

All modding arguments aside, that is a beautiful car. It's making it harder to hold onto my VIII.

 

 

I still dont like it. The fender flares arent big enough. I dont like the trapezoid grille/bumper-cut-out combo, I dont like the shape of the headlights and the interior is whack.

It looks like a mazda 6 on steroids that was cut off at the steering wheel and replaced with the front of an older galant on many, many different drugs.

 

is the new lancer gonna look all jacked up like this too?

Crap...I was planning on buying a 9 within the next couple of months. Seems like I'm going to hold off for now and see what the X has to offer.

 

Yeah it does make the IX look dated.
But....
I predict the IX will be lighter, and the 6 speed manual in the MR is awesome to row through the gears, and the 4g63 sounds so awesome with a Buschur Racing 3" exhaust on it screaming through the rpm's - it sounds so tuned and we all know the strength of the iron block 4g63. It might take the aftermarket a few years to figure out the new ecu, tuning and max stock-block reliable horsepower, etc....
It WILL be interesting....

 

Both Edward Loh and Mitsubishi communications manager Moe Durand suck. Who hires people like them they have no idea what the public would want to see.

well you are entitled to your opinion. But frankly the car is a notable improvement in performance, handling, looks too.
