I think it looks like an Acura TSX, but I like the photo chop of the black on gold rims

Definitely not my best work, but I'm in a hurry to leave work I noticed I probably made the red lip a little too big and the wrong color, but it gives you an idea at least..

This car is just plain beautiful. It looks more like the beloved Skyline than an audi.

My 2003 is on its way back to stock in prep for the 2008.
+1 I was telling someone this same thing, from the side view the front end resembles the Skyline very much IMO.. It's still growing on me but nevertheless, I'll probably make the change just for the AYC and all the new features if they turn out nicely..

Anyone else notice these items.

Love the pictures... I saw them too on autoblog.com but these are my concerns based on what I see ...

1) Ohlin Coilovers - so this is not the factory stance, how much wheel gap will a production car have?

2) Two piece rotors. Probable not going to make it on the production model.

3) The close-up photos of the grillle don't show the intercooler like the outdoor photos where you can see the LICP connections.

4) Major neckdown on the UICP above the valve cover...

5) I read today that a 5-speed will be available (thank god!)

6) And most inportantly... from a distance (50 ft away), and from the layman's eye, there is not much of a difference between the Lancer and the Lancer Evolution

Dude, where's the respect in calling him "son?" What in the hell are you trying to have the last word about anyways? Something as trivial as speculative pricing on a car that is a year away from having its prices announced? With all due respect, get a life ...

We, all of us, are ignorant about the price of the car. I remember all the price speculation that engulfed the C6 Z06 when its amazing final specs were released - what with all that race-derived goodness. Highly respected journalists were guessing $75K-$80K. WRONG. Off by $10K-$15K.

MMNA needs to make a bold move, a statement, if you will, that will ultimately remove them from the sh*thole that they've been in for some time now. I think, I say again, I think MMNA is not gonna "overprice" all Xs - key word ALL. Yeah, the dudes that put off buying the VIII or IX, the dudes that wanted something more comfortable, with some automatic climate control here and some cruise control there, and some fully automatic shifting here and some less "boy racer" looks there, and maybe a fat person seat option, yeah, well, there's your plush Evo for almost, if not, "$39,790-ish," including destination. But for those of us who want the leaner and more raw X, say like me, whom wants an RS-type, with no radio, a centered tach, zero sound deadening (and even more turbo whine since the turbo is nearer to the firewall), the 5-speed, a single exhaust tip, and windup windows even, we can have our cake and eat it too for less than $32K - more speculation, or, dare I say, prayer, and I don't pray.

Frankly, it's gonna suck to drive by more Evos on the road, especially those fat-optioned ones being driven by the older and fatter farts or snobs that felt like they were too good for the current Evo - please pardon all the profiling and unfairness (coughs). That's the tradeoff, though. We and "they," those fat and/or snobish posers, get to continue to see the Evo because MMNA will make enough money to stick around for years to come. In other words, I've always admired the Z-Car, but not always its drivers.

Lastly, go Mitsubishi! Love the fenders, especially the rears. Makes all the difference in the world - a bridge to the glorious past.
