Lancer Evolution X News, Info, Pics, etc... | [ALL THREADS MERGED]
As long as Mitsubishi improves the driving experience rather than dulls it down with all the new features I'll be happy. If the car doesn't measure up to the 8 and 9 in fun factor then hopefully Suby doesn't make the same mistake with the new STI and I'll just buy one of those..
Is Mitsubishi trying to switch to Dunlop tires? See Dunlops on both the Evo X prototype and the 08 Lancer in those pictures. And there was one picture of Yokohamas on another 08 Lancer.

Yes.
I stated that I preferred the gauge layout in the IX, which is true. I like having the tach in the center position on a performance car. Having the split tach/speedometer makes it feel like it's some kind of Audi or something. Not bad per say, but it's not something I want in a sports car.
I also said that I didn't like the steering wheel. I hate having a wheel with buttons all over it. It just clutters it up, and is unnecessary. At least in a sports car.
If you're talking about a luxury car, that's one thing. But on a car that's supposed to be focused so much on performance, I don't like it.
I also don't like the shape of the wheel, and how they removed the indentations where your thumb should rest right at the 3 and 9 positions.
Little things, I know, but whatever; they're important to me.
