Granted we can actually get it to look like that.

Much eaiser to look like it with a X than with a XI

Man...those headlights are sooo right. That and the rear quarter fender...and the wing! Someone send this design to Evo real quick before they release the cars!

Allright....could someone send those pics to Mitsubshi headquaters ASAP so that they could incorporate some of these ideas to the evo X, especially in the wing and headlights department.

Hood line, fenders, weight

Check out a picture of the Concept X, the show car they built about a year ago. The hood came all the way to the front without any breaks. It was beautiful. They screwed it up on the "production" X. The hood stops a few inches from the front edge, leaving a gap, then a short panel to the front edge. Looks choppy, hacked, not smooth. Evo 8 and 9 have nice continuous hoods.
"Production" X fenders don't bulge out enough. This car is going to need a good widebody kit.
Road and Track article says X will be "a few hundred pounds heavier than the IX". A few hundred pounds?!?! The evo was already a little heavy for its size, AWD cars usually are. It doesn't need to be any heavier. They put an aluminum block engine in it to save 50 pounds, then they add, what, 300 pounds to the rest of the car? Not good.
