Transfer case + Driveshaft + rear S-AWC diff + front diff S-AWC upgrade + half-shafts = 53 lbs? As optomistic as I am, I don't think so. If it is true, I'll be amazed, and the X's final weight will probably a stone's throw from the MR.
EDIT; I just re-read that.. Did you mean "53lbs!!! [new sentence] Less than the current drivetrain." Or "53lbs less than the current drivetrain." ?
if they came out with them taillight as a aftermarket upgrade! then sign me in! them tail lights are hot!!!! but the IS350 taillights that come with the production model are hot too but thez are mad hot! can u imagine them but in carbon fiber!!!
hmm lightest lancer is at 2999... hmm then the lightest evo X would be an RS X at maybe 3300 or 3375... just add some CF to her diet and ull get a nice n lite pakage!!! hmm im thinkin that some of the weight is from them rienforced doors and maybe on the fenders... so turn them in CF! that 4 CF doors and 4 CF Fenders! plus CF hood n trunk! and maybe even a roof and spoiler! this is a mega weight savings!!! oh and a fiberglass body kit! plz i kno that if u want to make this baby lite then there is a way!!!
I think the stock tails are fine, if someone can pop them open and bodycolor the surrounds. I'm definately going to take a crack at that if/when I get my X.
