Hi, where exactly do you mount the antenna? I can't seem to find the spot. Thanks!

Just installed my new system I got off ebay yesterday ($845 with shipping). YOu have to feel for the spot, there's a bracket guide to help out.

Sirius will still work. Your Sirius is based off the serial number from the antenna what I know. Mines works perfectly as well saved my stations I had from the 6cd system.

Thanks for the write up.

I'm picking up an X GSR soon, but none in my area have the NAV.

If I can find an inexpensive one, I might buy the car without the NAV and do it myself.

I would wait for someone to sell the Nav at a good price. It was luck that I found mines brand new at that price and it was a from a Mitsubishi Dealer too. Spent 2-2.5 times less than if I would to package it with my GTS plus you have to think about the interest from the finance that adds onto the car at the time of purchase.

There's a guy on here that bought it from the same ebay seller a year ago - his name was akj237

The Ebay seller is mitsu11

Exactly.

If I were to go this route I would wait for a good deal.

Thanks for the how to; I installed my MMCS this morning. Took about an hour and would have been much less if you could see where to put the antenna and could actually get your hands up in there.

This was definitely hard to find and a real b1tch to install. I ended up having to get a mirror up in the center console to see where the bracket went and then get the screws in.

Great write up.

Does anyone know where I can get the faceplate needed to fit this navigation? I installed everything and my scosche dash kit doesn't fit in with the MMCS. Do any of you guys know where to get this? or If you have it up for sale, please let me know!!!!!!

btw, my navi is teling me the wrong vehicle position... Do I need to update my navi at the dealership? this will cost me few hundred bucks according to them.

Antenna part number is 8751a011. Looks like retail on it is $123.73. When you call your parts guy, make certain that it comes with the mounting plate and screws.
