ready for a clutch...
so i was wondering what would be a good clutch for me? i do go drag racing about once a month and for the most part just a dd. im thinking of upgrading my turbo and cams soon so my stock clutch wont work. any input would greatly be of help
A single disc that can hold that power at 600-700 is gonna be pretty poor on driveablity. Either you'll have extremely high clamp forces (high pedal pressure) or be running probably sintered iron discs which will chatter like crazy.
From all my readings, I also wouldn't recommend an exedy twin for any drag racing. Especially if you're in the 500hp range. They don't seem to last long at all. The triple on the other hand, that seems to be the ticket for drag launches.
