You do not need to build the engine with a Black, people run 35R's on stock bottom ends. You will be able to hit 500WHP with the black easiest and the lag isn't even noticeable over a Red. The HKS unit spools amazing quick but makes only Green levels or less power.


Go Black sir, run 27PSI and be done with it. if and when you do build, it'll give you the numbers and spool you need later on.


Just a word of warning, once you go Black, you never go back. Obviously because your family won't take you back.

 

I run a 3076r. Spools nice, about 4k. 350 @22psi pump and 425 @ 30psi e85. It's a bit short but is sooo nice on a DD.
