your trying to explain to the state trooper/highway patrol that your huge *** wing, lip and BBS wheels are stock
you have to explain to a passenger that the loud 'clunk' they just heard when you shifted hard was perfectly normal
you cringe at the thought of someone sitting on your aluminum hood
you are able to justify spending $30k for a $15k car with its additional $15k in performance
guys in exotics eyeball your every move
you have to ask your passengers not to soil the seats before you go WOT
you only take it out on weekends or for HPDEs and insist on having a, 'daily'
you can't see if the car behind you is law enforcement because the spoiler blocks your view
you speak softly and whisper sweet nothings into the air, making your wife/girlfriend/partner jealous of the intimacy you show it

So true. I remember when Mike in sales @ South Coast Mitsubishi tried to tell me, "That was last years model that had the paint issues." when I picked up my IX.

 

I work at a bodyshop and we have two shops right across from eachother,I park on one side of the street and everytime I walk across I stare at it all the way to the other side.I have almost gotten run over numurous times not paying attention to traffic....haha
